ANALYSIS

Geometric Comparison

- This tool allows us to geometrically compare two models and highlight the differences between
them.
- We are able to directly select two files in any supported format (SolidWorks, IGS, VDA, STEP ,...),
as well as select directly by window, colour, layer...
- Results are shown in graphic form, with the differences between the pieces highlighted in two different colours.

- Possibility of selecting the common geometry and different geometry in both versions.

- It allows us to dynamically separate pieces for a more comfortable visual analysis and to capture images for documenting.

Demolding Angle Analysis
- This tool allows us to geometrically compare two
models and highlight the differences between
them.
- It displays the results in four colours, in accordance with a minimum demolding angle. For example, if our piece is to feature deep engraving and we define a minimum degree of 3, we can analyze which areas are below the reference in order to avoid future marks during the removal of part during injection.
- Ability to record possible angles.

- Analysis resolution definition option.

Analysis Tools

- Dynamic Thickness Analysis, which enables us to dynamically analyse the thickness of a piece by placing the cursor over the area in question. An excellent tool for geometric control.
- The distance between the surfaces displays a graph showing the thicknesses in the different areas.
- Weight calculation for pieces with an extensive list of plastic materials. The materials are user-editable and configurable.

- Dynamic rules display scale rules for quick visual verification.

- Dynamic Analysis by Section allows us to analyse our geometry by sections, enabling us to create the
physical section for subsequent documentation.

- Surface detection by radius graphically displays those surfaces that are within the defined
range. Ideal for detecting areas that can be machined or which require EDM.

- Move by surfaces allows us to transform geometry in relation to two surfaces, providing that they
are topologically identical. Very useful for repositioning objects.

- With View Deformation we are able to visually deform our model along an axis in order to exaggerate
possible molding errors.

- Unify Normals automatically orientates all our piece's surfaces.

Splits and Inserts
This is one of RhinoMold's most advanced tools.
In a question of minutes we are able to separate cavities and create split surfaces.
Allows for the definition of additional demolding directions from slides.
Likewise, its divides the surfaces for which the split is created and organises the groups according to our requirements With the cavity-awl opening option we are able to quickly view the surfaces that are not demolded.
