How to I control the tolerence of the paths created? We have had a couple of cuts running successfully on our Datrom M35 machine, but I am not sure how to increase or decrease the accuracy of the cutting paths.  We use VX CAD/CAM for our CNC work at the moment, which is very capable but it is nice to have such a straightforward interface, within Rhino. This will be an excellent tool!

Thanks in advance,

Tim Perry

I have a similar issue, I am not sure how to make the toolpath fit the exact geometry of a model (mesh). I can create a roughing toolpath that looks fine. But when I try to write a finish that accurately shapes the surface of the curved mesh it doesnt hug the curve. there is a rather large gap between the model and and the tool path. please help!!

cheers,

Justin

Hi,

The precision you can find it inside each toolpath. Check in Stepsize along toolpath in General tab.

If you have any doubt, don't hesitate to contact me.

OK, I understand! Thanks! I'll try doing some cuts on our Datron machine very soon,
